LF1 Description
When the waters call, answer it with the LF1, our modular underwater scooter with a powerful water motor and removable battery. Our driver propulsion vehicle (DPV) is a compact underwater vehicle that weighs just 5.07 pounds but can deliver 14.7 pounds of thrust for up to 90 minutes on a single battery charge. Waterproof up to 131 feet (40 meters), the LF1 lets you dive deeper in saltwater, with its 1.1 kg negative buoyancy. And with an ambidextrous pressure-sensitive remote trigger, you’re in complete control of the propulsion. A single remote can be paired with and control up to 6 motor units.
AIRCRAFT-GRADE ENGINEERING
Built from anodized, corrosion-resistant 6061 aluminum for the shell, with an impact-resistant vinyl nose cover. The LF1 undersea scooter delivers durability and longevity that other plastic water scooters simply cannot match.
MODULAR DESIGN FOR ADDED EXPLORATION
The design language was developed with a clear strategy, letting you modify it and customize it to your liking using modular accessories (sold separately). Change the handles on the LF1 as you please. Dive with a single handle or use a dual grip. Need to document your undersea scooter adventures? The LF1 comes with a GoPro-compatible camera mount. Need more thrust? Combine two LF1 units on a dual-rail handle and double your propulsion. A single wireless remote can be paired to and control up to six units.
MORE THAN JUST A SEA SCOOTER
Not only is the LF1 an underwater scooter, but it’s also a portable engine, that you can attach to any watercraft. Affix it to a paddle boat. Make your own electric kickboard. Or use it as a kayak propeller. Whether it’s the ocean, river, lake or swimming pool, the LF1 makes diving easier by delivering propulsion on demand.
COMPACT & LIGHTWEIGHT
The compact size of the LF1 water scooter makes traveling with the LF1 to your waterside destination a snap. Simply disassemble the underwater scooter and fit the unit in a standard sized backpack. Traveling to your destination? Our removable battery is TSA-compliant, making this unit one of the only diving scooter that’s approved to be taken on board a plane with you.
ADVANCED BATTERY TECHNOLOGY
The LF1 uses our LiFePO4 battery technology with an enhanced safety profile. Not only is it efficient, able to be fully charged in two hours, but it’s also fully removable. So your seaside adventure doesn’t have to end because of a dead battery. Just grab a second battery (sold separately) and swap it out with the flat one. If you want to dive longer and swim farther, just pack an extra battery on you. The LiFePO4 rechargeable battery provides up to 90 minutes of continuous runtime. (The wireless remote control also fully charges in 90 minutes or less.)
