The fad came on hard and strong, where every yard and garage with any kid aged 5 to 15 suddenly was parked full of shiny new scooters.

Scooters hadn’t been popular with mainstream the toy market since the the 1970’s with the popular Kickn’ Go. However, scooters took a backseat as the everyday, accessible bicycle rode steadily onto the scene.
