This is my first scooter, so I didn’t know what to expect. After assembly and tightening, then filling the front tire (trying to find an air chuck that would fit the low profile valve stem was a job) with air, I took it for a test ride. I live .7 miles from work, which is downtown. There is much to do downtown, so work was not the only goal for a personal electric vehicle. The quality seems to be what I expected. The power and range are acceptable for my 230 pound weight. The motor is quiet, and the controls are fine. The sales and service are U.S. based, so I expect VERY good customer service. If I receive a great level of reliability and service life from this scooter, Swagtron will have a long term customer and I will be a return customer for the inevitable replacement (nothing lasts forever). Speaking of which, Swagtron really needs to list consumable items like tires and brakes (Hello Swagtron) clearly for customers. I really don’t want to search in vain for these things on the web, only to find nothing. This is very important. Overall, I am very pleased with this P.E.V. and want Swagtron to succeed. Honest service and specifications are key to trust……… We will see!
