And he’s a cancer survivor.
Jon Lester is a lot of things. Mostly, he’s an inspiration to cancer survivors everywhere. Jon is on a mission to help fund pediatric cancer research through NVRQT along with his wife, Farrah. For them, this is more than an organization. It’s a rallying cry against pediatric cancer, a reminder to “never quit” fighting, surviving and thriving.
Jon Lester is in this fight for the long haul.

And that partnership continues with Jon Lester’s NVRQT Goes Country charity event, benefiting pediatric cancer. The event, now in its fifth year, takes place on Wednesday, July 17, and will feature a night of country music, delicious food and laughs to raise awareness for the cause.
“Awareness is only half the battle,” Jon reminds us. “Research is the only thing that will lead us to a cure.” And we all know how expensive cancer research can be.
