How hard is it to learn to ride a SWAGTRON?

faq_image7

How hard is it to learn to ride a SWAGTRON T1 hoverboard?

The SWAGTRON is easy to learn. In about 5 minutes you will get the hang of it and in 30 minutes you will begin to master it. The SWAGTRON T1 makes it even easier: activate the built-in learning mode to reduce the speed while you learn the basics. Once you have the steering down, simply turn it off and go full throttle.  The SWAGTRON stop speed is 10mph and the SWAGTRON’s top speed (without learning mode enabled) is 8mph. In short, it’s NOT HARD AT ALL! You will step onto the SWAGTRON and try to balance, but it’s doing the balancing for you… You will be running circles around everyone in no time at all. SWAGTRON FAQs

Your SWAGTRON has a “learning mode” to help you get used to riding it before going full-speed. Here are the instructions on how to switch between learning mode and performance mode.

  1. Switch the SWAGTRON OFF.
  2. Press the power button 1 time to turn it on, then again 1 second later to switch modes.
(you will hear a longer beep on your second press)

That’s it. You can switch back and forth between modes at any time.

This is by design. All screw on handlebars are designed this way to ensure they do not come loose while riding.

My Swagboard Will Not Turn On After I Charged It

faq_image11

It is possible to charge the board accidentally while the power button on the side of the board’s power box is in the “ON” position (pressed in). While the blue LED ring-light does shut off when plugged into the charger after a few seconds, the board should NOT be ON while the charger is connected. This seems to cause a failsafe to engage on the battery and charge system rendering the battery without voltage temporarily.

To reset the system, leave the board unplugged in a safe area for 24-48 hours. DO NOT CONNECT it to the charger during this time. Make sure it is OFF (the power button will not be depressed). After a day or two, make sure the power to the unit is still OFF and connect temporarily to the charger. Usually the LED will turn RED for 5-10 minutes, then turn back to GREEN.

Unplug the unit and test the ON switch, it should now be ready to roll.
